Triple Minerva is played with three standard decks (156 cards). There are twelve tableaus that contain four cards each. The objective is to build the twelve foundations up by suit from Ace to King.

How to Play Triple Minerva

Game Objective

Move all cards to the twelve foundations.

Foundation Rules

  • There are twelve foundations.
  • An Ace may move to an empty foundation.
  • The foundations build up by the same suit.
  • For example the 6♠ may move onto the 5♠ and the 6♦ may move onto the 5♦. Starting with the 6♣ the following sequence can build on top 7♣ 8♣ 9♣ 10♣.

Tableau Rules

  • There are twelve tableaus.
  • The tableaus build down by alternating colors.
  • For example the 9♠ may move onto the 10♦ and the 9♥ may move onto the 10♣. Starting with the 9♥ the following sequence can build on top 8♠ 7♦ 6♣.
  • A King may move to an empty tableau. No other cards may move to an empty tableau.
  • Sequences of cards built down by alternating color can move together as a group.

Reserve Rules

  • There is one reserve.
  • The top card is movable.

Stock Rules

  • A single redeal of the waste back into the stock is permitted. Allowing for two complete passes through the stock.
  • The stock deals one card face up to the waste when tapped.

Waste Rules

  • There is one waste.
  • The top card is movable.
