Whitehorse Solitaire

Whitehorse is a closed game played with a single deck (52 cards). There are seven tableaus that contain one cards each. The objective is to build the four foundations up by suit from Ace to King.

Game Objective

Move all cards to the four foundations.


  • There are four foundations.
  • An Ace may be moved to an empty foundation.
  • The foundations are built up by suit.
  • The top card is movable.


  • There are seven tableaus.
  • A King may be moved to an empty tableau.
  • The tableaus are built down by alternating colors.
  • Any card or stack of cards may move together as a group. Any stack of cards may move together, regardless of their build (no restriction on rank, suit or color).
  • Empty spaces are automatically filled with a card from the waste.


  • An unlimited number of passes through the stock is permitted. There is no restriction on how many times the waste can be redealt to the stock.
  • The stock deals three cards face up to the waste when tapped.


  • There is one waste.
  • The top card is movable.
