How to Play TwoCell

Game Objective

Move all cards to the four foundations.

Foundation Rules

  • There are four foundations.
  • An Ace may move to an empty foundation.
  • The foundations build up by the same suit.
  • For example the 4♠ may move onto the 3♠ and the 4♦ may move onto the 3♦. Starting with the 4♦ the following sequence can build on top 5♦ 6♦ 7♦ 8♦.

Cell Rules

  • There are two cells.
  • Any card may fill an empty space.
  • The top card is movable.

Tableau Rules

  • There are eight tableaus.
  • Any card may fill an empty space.
  • The tableaus build down by alternating colors.
  • For example the J♠ may move onto the Q♦ and the J♥ may move onto the Q♣. Starting with the J♥ the following sequence can build on top 10♠ 9♦ 8♣.
  • Any card may move to an empty tableau.
  • Sequences of cards built down by alternating color can move together as a group.

Strategy & Tips

TwoCell has about a 1 in 5 chance of winning (20%). Improve your chances with these 3 tips:

  1. Keep the four free cells, free where possible. They are used to help move the large stacks of cards.
  2. An empty tableau doubles the number of cards you can move between tableaus.
  3. Any single card may be moved to the free cell spaces.
