How to Play Triple Harp

Game Objective

The goal of Triple Harp is to move all 156 cards to the foundation piles. You achieve this by building sequences of cards up by suit that start with an Ace and end with a King. You win when the twelve foundations each contain a complete sequence of thirteen cards.

Foundation Rules

  • There are twelve foundations.
  • An Ace may move to an empty foundation.
  • The foundations build up by the same suit.
  • For example the 8♠ may move onto the 7♠ and the 8♦ may move onto the 7♦. Starting with the 8♣ the following sequence can build on top 9♣ 10♣ J♣ Q♣.
  • The top card is movable.

Tableau Rules

  • There are twelve tableaus.
  • A King may move to an empty tableau. No other cards may move to an empty tableau.
  • The tableaus build down by alternating colors.
  • For example the 9♠ may move onto the 10♦ and the 9♥ may move onto the 10♣. Starting with the 9♥ the following sequence can build on top 8♠ 7♦ 6♣.
  • The top card is movable.

Stock Rules

  • An unlimited number of passes through the stock is permitted. There is no restriction on how many times the waste can be redealt to the stock.
  • The stock deals three cards face up to the waste when tapped.
