Seven Devils Solitaire

Seven Devils gets its name from the seven reserve piles. It is played with two standard decks (104 cards) and otherwise plays identically to Klondike. The objective is to build the four foundations up by suit from Ace to King.

Skill: Mostly Luck

Winning is mostly determined by luck. A small amount of skill is involved.

Game Objective

Move all cards to the eight foundations.

Foundation

  • There are eight foundations.
  • An Ace may move to an empty foundation.
  • The foundations build up by the same suit.
  • For example the 5♠ may move onto the 4♠ and the 5♦ may move onto the 4♦. Starting with the 5♣ the following sequence can build on top 6♣ 7♣ 8♣ 9♣.
  • The top card is movable.

Tableau

  • There are seven tableaus.
  • Any card may move to an empty tableau.
  • The tableaus build down by alternating colors.
  • For example the 9♠ may move onto the 10♦ and the 9♥. Starting with the 9♣ the following sequence can build on top 8♠ 7♦ 6♣.
  • The top card is movable.
