Racing Aces Solitaire

Racing Aces is played with three standard decks (156 cards). There are six tableaus that contain one cards each. The objective is to move all cards to the four foundations by building them up regardless of suit.

How to Play Racing Aces

Build aces foundations up regardless of suit. Fill empty aces foundations with Aces. Build sixes foundations down regardless of suit. Build sevens foundations up regardless of suit. Build kings foundations down regardless of suit. No building on the tableau. Empty tableaus automatically fill from the stock then with any card. Stock deals one to waste without redeals.

Game Objective

The goal of Racing Aces is to move all 156 cards to the foundation piles. You achieve this by building sequences of cards up regardless of suit that start with an Ace and end with a King. You win when the four foundations each contain a complete sequence of thirteen cards.

Aces Foundation Rules

  • There are four aces foundations.
  • The aces foundations are initially empty.
  • The aces foundations build up regardless of suit.
  • For example the 8♠ may move onto the 7♠, 7♥, 7♣ and 7♦. Starting with the 8♥ the following sequence may build on top 9♠ 10♠ J♦ Q♣.
  • The top card is movable.
  • An Ace may move to an empty aces foundation.

Sixes Foundation Rules

  • There are four sixes foundations.
  • The sixes foundations are initially empty.
  • The sixes foundations build down regardless of suit.
  • For example the J♠ may move onto the Q♠, Q♥, Q♣ and Q♦. Starting with the J♥ the following sequence may build on top 10♠ 9♠ 8♦ 7♣.
  • The top card is movable.
  • A Six may move to an empty sixes foundation.

Sevens Foundation Rules

  • There are four sevens foundations.
  • The sevens foundations are initially empty.
  • The sevens foundations build up regardless of suit.
  • For example the 8♠ may move onto the 7♠, 7♥, 7♣ and 7♦. Starting with the 8♥ the following sequence may build on top 9♠ 10♠ J♦ Q♣.
  • The top card is movable.
  • A Seven may move to an empty sevens foundation.

Kings Foundation Rules

  • There are four kings foundations.
  • The kings foundations are initially empty.
  • The kings foundations build down regardless of suit.
  • For example the J♠ may move onto the Q♠, Q♥, Q♣ and Q♦. Starting with the J♥ the following sequence may build on top 10♠ 9♠ 8♦ 7♣.
  • The top card is movable.
  • A King may move to an empty kings foundation.

Tableau Rules

  • There are six tableaus.
  • Initially containing one card face up in each tableau.
  • The top card is movable.
  • Empty spaces are automatically populated with a card from the stock. When the stock is empty any single card may move to an empty tableau.

Reserve Rules

  • There are three reserves.
  • Initially containing thirteen cards face up in each reserve.
  • The top card is movable.
  • Once empty the reserves remain empty.

Stock Rules

  • The stock deals one card face up to the waste when tapped.
  • A single pass through the stock is permitted. Redeals are not possible. Once on the waste, cards remain until used in a valid move.

Waste Rules

  • There is one waste.
  • The waste is initially empty.
  • The top card is movable.
  • Once empty the waste remains empty until more cards move from the stock.
