How to Play Open Doublets

Pair cards with equal rank and regardless of suit.

Game Objective

In Open Doublets the goal is to discard cards by pairing cards together. You win when there are no more cards remaining to pair.

Tableau Rules

  • There are twelve tableaus.
  • Initially containing four cards face up in each tableau.
  • Pair cards with equal rank and regardless of suit.
  • For example the A♠ may move onto the A♥, A♣ or the A♦.
  • The top card is movable.
  • Once empty the tableaus remain empty.

Reserve Rules

  • There is one reserve.
  • Initially containing four cards face up in the reserve.
  • The top card is movable.
  • Once empty the reserve remains empty.
